Canton Concert Band to perform at Palace Theatre on July 7 The Repository CANTON – The Canton Concert Band will present a program of light classics, popular music, marches, and featured soloists July 7 at the Palace Theatre. Jay Spencer, organist for the Palace Theatre, will provide a half-hour concert prelude beginning at 7 p.m. on the theatre’s historic Kilgen organ. The 36-piece Canton Concert Band is composed of local professional musicians, each a member of the Canton Local 111 branch of the American Federation of Musicians. The July 7 program marks the Canton Concert Band’s return to the stage after a season hiatus due to the global pandemic and will be led by Jayne Naragon. ....
