Maunsell Way pavilion Youth groups in Wroughton are celebrating the prospect of a brand new £1m pavilion on the playing field in Maunsell Way. The scheme was given the go-ahead after members of the village scout troop and its BMX club impressed Swindon Borough Council’s planning committee which was considering a plan by the parish council to demolish the small single-story existing pavilion and build a new centre. The building will be divided up to provide a main hall, smaller secondary hall, and dedicated rooms for early years groups. Crucially for many youth groups who want to use the new hall, it will have storage and toilets accessible from outside when the rest of the building is closed. ....
