AUBURN Edward Little got caught in St. Dom’s offensive deluge in a girls lacrosse game on a rainy Wednesday afternoon.
Downpours made conditions less than ideal for both teams, but the Saints (2-2) still found the open net and sailed off with a 17-3 victory over the Red Eddies.
The Saints moved fast despite a waterlogged field, scoring three quick goals in the first half. Junior Emma Roy punched in her first of three goals to spark St. Dom’s offense. She was followed by back-to-back goals by Taryn Cloutier, who led all scorers with five.
