John McMillan appeared before Glasgow Sheriff Court after pleading guilty to driving under the influence of drugs. While impaired, he ran a red light and slammed his car into the passenger side door of another vehicle. Depute fiscal Jessica McGowan told the court that on December 8, 2020, witnesses in Tradeston saw the 57-year-old fun a red light. McMillan, from Govan, was driving along Wallace Street when he failed to stop at the traffic lights and drove into the passenger side door of another vehicle. The driver of the other car tried to get his details but saw McMillan was unsteady on his feet and noticed he had slurred speech.
