Mary Ann Hogan passed away on June 4, 2021. She was 90 years old. She was a member and chairperson of the Hernando County School Board. A member of the Junior Service League of Brooksville. A newspaper columnist for the Sun Journal, writing the popular column in the 1960’s called “Shifting Sand with Mary Ann.” She served on the Board of Directors for the Salvation Army, the Board of Governors of Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD), the Board of Directors of Brooksville’s Historical Museum and served as a member of the Hernando Chamber of Commerce. ....

Cigna is seeking regulatory approval from the Connecticut Insurance Department to begin offering a new small group plan in partnership with New York-based Oscar, an insurance-technology company that launched in 2012 to originally target the individual insurance market. The two have joined forces to offer a new fully-insured health plan called “Cigna + Oscar.” The insurance product is relatively new, officially debuting nationally last year in just a few markets. ....
