Charlie Baker to re-prioritize educators to make them eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccinations in the earlier part of Phase Two. The administrators issued a letter to Gov. Baker Monday outlining the basis of their request. Phase One of the Commonwealth s COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution Timeline began in December 2020 and continued through January. Medfield may be facing another deficit Wicked Local MEDFIELD – Medfield has started crunching the numbers for fiscal 2022, and it looks like the town may have to deal with another deficit. According to Town Administrator Kristine Trierweiler, Medfield is looking at a $2.1 million deficit. However, the budget numbers will likely change as the town receives a better idea on state aid, health insurance and other factors. This includes police and fire contracts, which are currently under negotiations with the town. Trierweiler would like to create a capital stabilization fund this year to help the town with capital budget items down the road. ....
