WarnerMedia-owned US cablenet TBS has commissioned a dating competition format for divorced couples.

The Big D is being produced by US prodco Lighthearted Entertainment and will be hosted by JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers from The Bachelorette.
The 10×60’ series whisks recent divorcees away to search for romance in a tropical Costa Rican villa, but their exes get to go with them too.
Each episode will see the group take part in exercises designed to help the singles form connections, make peace with former partners and get over issues holding them back from dating. One person who isn’t deemed ‘dating material’ will be eliminated each week.

With The Big D, divorcees will travel to paradise in search of love and second chances.
TBS is jumping on the reality dating series bandwagon.

In an unprecedented announcement, there will be two back-to-back Bachelorette seasons.
The series follows 10 divorced couples as they move into a tropical villa in Costa Rica and “re-learn how to date,” according to TBS. “The group takes part in revealing relationship EX-ercises designed to help the singles form connections, make peace with their former partners, and finally get over the issues holding them back from dating.” One person will be eliminated in each episode, and “jealous exes may try to send their rival home or perhaps even defend their exes’ honor.”
