Midnight Oil and Paul Kelly to headline rescheduled Bluesfest event

Bluesfest has just revealed the lineup for its rescheduled 2021 event.
Following the heartbreak of that fateful April cancellation, Bluesfest Byron Bay has officially revealed the lineup for its recently-rescheduled 2021 event.
The festival, which is now slated to go down from Friday October 1 to Monday October 4 at its usual home at Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm, has retained all Australian acts who were originally locked in to appear at the April festival, and now features two very special headliners on the bill.

To the Editor:
Ezra Klein’s column about the dangers and immorality of meat consumption is welcome, particularly the comments on the ethical issues involved in wide consumption of meat. Perhaps he is correct that government action is needed, but if “market” means anything, then consumers should be able to make some of the change happen by themselves.
Like Mr. Klein, I was a meat eater, and I made the change to vegan perhaps 10 years ago, when it wasn’t as easy as it is today to find alternatives, especially for protein. Aside from the health effects, which may or may not become manifest for me in the long run, there is no sense of ethical superiority. ....

First Time Really Feeling is the sixth album from Liz Stringer, an acclaimed artist known among her peers as a ‘songwriter’s songwriter’ and a ‘musician’s musician’. Stringer s skill in roots/rock songcraft was honoured at Woodford Folk Festival in 2019, where she was named an ’emerging legend of Australian song’ by contemporaries such as Jeff Lang, Tim Levinson, Jessie Lloyd and Catherine MacLellan.
Alongside solo albums and countless tours, Stringer has also worked collaboratively with Mia Dyson and Jen Cloher. Together As Dyson, Stringer Cloher they recorded an album at Wilco s Loft in Chicago, and toured nationally.
