Paciente despierta es intervenida quirúrgicamente en IPS Una mujer fue sometida a una cirugía cerebral con los ojos abiertos. La operación fue un éxito, según el plantel médico del IPS.En el Hospital Central del Instituto de Previsión Social (IPS) fue realizada una cirugía del cerebro con la paciente despierta.El doctor Juan Jara explicó que la mujer tenía un tumor en una región del cerebro, donde se encuentran las áreas del lenguaje, comprensión y motora.Explicó que a la paciente se la mantuvo despierta a fin de evitar que tras la cirugía sufra alguna pérdida en alguna de estas áreas.“La lesión estaba ubicada en una zona que podría dar a la paciente un déficit motor, debilidad en el cuerpo, trastorno en el lenguaje o comprensión. Justamente se estimula a la hora de estar en quirófano teniendo el cerebro expuesto, se estimula esa zona para ver si se lesiona esa zona o si se recepciona, si compromete el tumor la paciente podrí ....
