42000 candidates appear in JKSSB examination for Class IV posts in Srinagar

Srinagar: Some 42 thousand candidates sat in the J&K Service Selection Board examination for Class IV posts in Srinagar where the administration had put in place exhaustive arrangements to ensure smooth conduct.
The examination was held in three phases on 27 and 28 February and 1 March and saw an overall candidate attendance of 78 percent of the total of around 54000 candidates allotted to Srinagar.
Exhaustive arrangements had been put in place at all 38 centres where the examination was held in the district. The arrangements covered all aspects from comfort to security to safety against coronavirus.
Coordinated efforts of concerned agencies involved in the effort ensured smooth and fair conduct of the examination. ....

Arrangements for JKSSB Class IV Exam finalized in Rajouri

The Health authorities were directed to keep the provision of sanitizers and thermal scanners at the entrance of the examination centers.
The Police Department has been directed to ensure the foolproof security arrangements during the examination process .
It was also decided that proper signages would be installed at each examination centre so that the candidates don’t face any inconvenience locating their respective centre. It was also decided that the facility of additional desks and other logistics would also be provided at each examination centre by the Head of the institution.
It was also decided in the meeting that relaxation would be given to the students to sit in the examination, if they reach late but the cut time would be same for everyone. ....

Poonch: Deputy Commissioner Poonch Rahul Yadav, today chaired a meeting to review the arrangements for smooth conduct of OMR based objective type written exam for class IV posts being conducted by J&K Service Selection Board.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Dr. Basharat Hussain; Additional Superintendent of Police, Khalid Amin; Prof. Fateh Mohd. Abassi from Degree College Poonch; Assistant Commissioner Revnue, Zaheer Ahmed Kaifi; heads of educational institutions.
Threadbare discussion were held on various issues regarding the examinations including, accommodation facilities, provision of vehicles, manpower for the receipt, washroom and light arrangements in exam centre, dispatch of examination material, security in and around strong room and examination centres, videography of examination centres besides proper sensitization of examination centre and all related issues were discussed in detail. ....
