Dozens of San Francisco schools renamed in bizarre scheme to erase racism

https://www.afinalwarning.com/493032.html (Natural News) A total of 44 schools throughout San Francisco are being renamed after the far-left city’s school board decided that their iconic figures were “racist” or otherwise “problematic.” In a 6-1 vote following months of controversy, it was determined that Abraham Lincoln High School, George Washington High School, and even Dianne Feinstein Elementary School all require new names that have no connection to slavery, oppression or racism. With little to no input from historians, not to mention a complete lack of information in several cases – the committee was unsure whether Roosevelt Middle School was named after Theodore or Franklin Delano – the board full-fledged axed all the names with not even a second thought.

San Francisco school board: No more honoring people with offensive histories, like Abraham Lincoln and Paul Revere?

Those 44 schools whose namesakes are thought, by many, to have dishonorable legacies. Some of the campuses impacted are: Lowell High, Lincoln High, Washington High, Roosevelt Middle, John Muir Elementary and Feinstein Elementary School. Lincoln High because of his treatment of Native Americans and Feinstein Elementary because of a confederate flag issue while she was mayor. The San Francisco Chronicle reports that critics called the process “slapdash,” which seems like a pretty minor criticism over this exercise of woke nihilism. That might be especially true considering that California schools aren’t even delivering an education at the moment, and the school name seems like a rather strange priority even if change is somehow justified:
