The theme for this year s book fair is - Amader Tripura, Sresta Tripura, which basically means that Our Tripura, Best Tripura. The Deputy Chief Minister of Tripura, Jishnu Deb Barma announced that the book fair will be organised this time at the Hapania International Fair ground in Agartala. Last year, the Tripura Publishers Guild opposed and boycotted the government s decision to organise an event of joy and excitement for the book lovers. They boycotted the event as it was held at Hapania, which was outside the city of Agartala. The Tripura Publishers Guild have appealed the government to rethink their decision this time. ....
