A woman was sentenced to nine months jail by the Gympie Magistrates Court on Thursday for 29 offences, most of them drug related.
Zoe Renea Zelow, 39, appeared in custody via video link and was granted immediate parole.
She pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle without a licence, two counts of stealing after a previous conviction, 11 counts of possessing a dangerous drug, four counts of possessing a utensil that had been used, four counts of failing to dispose of a needle and syringe, possessing property suspected of having been acquired for the purpose of committing a drug offence, failing to appear, three counts of breaching a bail condition, driving with a drug present in saliva, an offence involving
Tears were shed by Damien Michael Patrick Gallaher’s family as his crimes were read aloud to the Gympie court on Thursday.
Gallaher, 29, pleaded guilty to 11 charges, including dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, breaking and entering and possession of a weapon under the influence.
He was sentenced to seven years jail, but will be out on parole in just over two months, on June 27, 2021.
On February 27, 2021, Gallaher went on a shotgun rampage between Gympie and the Cooloola Coast, before he was arrested by police.
The rampage began with an argument between a drunk Gallaher and a colleague outside a local pub, where Gallaher threatened to shoot his colleague with a 12-gauge shotgun he owned.

An 18-year-old man has been convicted in Gympie Magistrates Court of climbing on to the roof of a shop on a busy Gympie road, and causing significant damage. Lachlan Christopher Anderson pleaded guilty to wilful damage and unregulated, high risk activity, after he was found on the roof of Ginger’s Convenience Store in Horseshoe Bend at midnight on April 5. The court heard police were called to the scene for a traffic hazard, only to discover Anderson up on the roof, throwing objects at passing cars.

Jenny Sarah Rennert was trying to enter the Gympie police station in Channon Street when she discovered the sliding doors were locked. Jenny Sarah Rennert.
