the Washington Football Team officially promoted last week, will be solely in charge of a position group for the first time in his career, but he is taking on the new role with a trove of knowledge about his young players.
He learned that despite dealing with an unconventional offseason, a completely new offense and a worldwide pandemic, Washington s receivers were a hard-working bunch. They still produced under those circumstances, too, showing flashes of talent throughout a season that included four different starting quarterbacks.

Washington Promotes Jim Hostler To Senior Offensive Assistant, Drew Terrell To Wide Receivers Coach Feb 05, 2021 at 10:01 AM Copied!
Jim Hostler to the role of senior offensive assistant and
Drew Terrell to the role of wide receivers coach. Hostler was previously the team s wide receivers coach and Terrell was the team s assistant wide receivers coach. Coach Hostler and Coach Terrell have both earned these promotions. Both these men did phenomenal work with the wide receivers this season and I know they are both ready for their new roles, said head coach
Ron Rivera. Coach Hostler has experience working with the quarterbacks and will now be able to work more with the offense as a whole. Coach Terrell is a bright and up and coming coach who I know will command respect in the wide receivers room and build off of the foundation that he and Coach Hostler established there this past season.

Linebacker Vince Williams and nose tackle Tyson Alualu were missing from Steelers practice yesterday on the first day of workouts for Sunday’s Cleveland playoff game. Williams has a quad injury and Alualu an ankle sprain.
As expected, guard Matt Feiler and linebacker Robert Spilanne returned to the practice field. They are still on the injured reserve list but can return as early as Sunday if the Steelers activate them. The team has 21 days to make a decision.
Safety Terrell Edmunds was a full participant after missing last Sunday’s game with a shoulder injury. Cornerback Steven Nelson was a limited participant with a knee injury and kicker Chris Boswell was limited to protect his groin injury.
