Consider military employment Jim Coogan I’m guessing that I will lose a number of readers early on in this commentary because I’m going to argue that it is time for young people to consider joining the military. With job prospects looking grim as the economy shrinks in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, military service could be a very good alternative to living at home with parents while maybe getting 20–25 hours a week of minimum wage work at a fast food joint.
