DUBLIN, Ga. A teenager is dead and a man is in critical condition after a wreck in Laurens County Sunday night.
According to Georgia State Patrol, the single-vehicle wreck happened just before 7:30 p.m. on Sportsman Club Road.
GSP says 55-year-old Thomas Tyler was driving a Polaris Slingshot vehicle with 17-year-old Austin Jacob McCullars in the passenger seat. That s when McCullars was ejected.
Laurens County Deputy Coroner Alfred Pearson pronounced McCullars dead at the scene.
Tyler was taken to a Macon hospital where he s listed in critical condition.

BRUNSWICK, Ga. (WTOC) - Two teenage girls are injured after a rollover crash on Saturday afternoon in Brunswick, one of them seriously.
Sergeant Shane Copeland of the Georgia State Patrol’s Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team says the teens were pulling out of a McDonald’s parking lot and crossing U.S. Highway 341 when they were struck by a southbound car.
The impact caused their vehicle to roll over and one of the girls was ejected from the vehicle. Copeland says both girls are being treated at a nearby hospital, and the one ejected from the vehicle has serious injuries. The condition of the other driver, identified as a man, is still unknown.

Three people were injured in an accident that happened March 13, shortly after midnight. According to Georgia State Patrol Trooper, David Laff a woman since identified as Catherine Poppell, 18, of Long County plowed into a group of teenagers who were gathered before a bon fire in the 300 block of Persimmons Blvd NE.
Laff reported that Poppell was involved in an altercation with her boyfriend when she entered a family member’s 2010 Toyota Corolla. Poppell allegedly hit the gas and drove onto the lawn of a residence directly across the street striking a parked Nissan Altima. Poppell then continued driving into the path of a group of people congregating around the bon fire and standing near the Nissan.
