Are Ohio politicians worried about Neil Clark s book? In March 15, 2021 ( beware the Ides of March), well-known Ohio lobbyist Neil S. Clark was found dead in Collier County, Fla. He was 67. While Clark s death has been widely reported in The Highland County Press and most other media across the state, what s been overlooked by some is the fact that Clark has written a recently released memoir, “What Do I Know? As a born and raised Coloradan, I love to find any chance I can get to take a jab at my Texas friends. With the ever-growing rise of Texans moving into Colorado, it can often feel like an invasion. However, this isn t the first time Texas has attempted to launch an invasion into Colorado. As I so often like to remind my friends after a couple of drinks at Road 34, Colorado volunteers actually defeated a Texas invasion. Back in the year 1862, during the American Civil War, Texas tried and failed (pretty miserably, I must add), to Invade New Mexico and Colorado.
