HAWKINS, Texas It used to be pot brownies, now other THC-infused snacks and candies that look similar to name brand goods have become a growing trend. However, as marijuana remains illegal in Texas, a local constable is reminding and warning his community about these products.
Wood County Precinct 3 Constable John McQueen first saw the THC edibles from a law enforcement Facebook post, and after recent busts in East Texas, he decided to make his own post.

TAMPA, Fla. - Hillsborough County lead prosecutor Aaron Hubbard says John McQueen is a cold-blooded killer who thought his girlfriend, Kelaina Atkins was a problem so he got rid of his problem. I just did it to shut her up, Hubbard said, characterizing McQueen. She was going to try to make my life a living hell.
During the first day of McQueen’s murder trial, Hubbard told the jury about McQueen s chilling confession. She tried to scream when I first put my hands around her neck, which made me squeeze tighter, Hubbard recited.

WOOD COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - The Wood County Sheriffâs Office said a car stolen outside of East Texas was found in a lake in the county.
On Wednesday, the sheriffâs office got a call reporting a vehicle was spotted in Lake Hawkins. They went to the scene and found that the car was unoccupied.
Wood County Sheriffâs Sgt. Bowring investigated, and found that the car had been reported stolen from Killeen. He identified the juveniles involved, and has been working Killeen Police Department on the case.
