GoFundMe started to help rebuild business lost by fire

Fire burning Friday evening. (Hilliary Brown)
FORT ST. JOHN, BC. – A GoFundMe was created to help a local couple after a Friday fire claimed their woodworking shop and many valuable items inside it.
Fire crews arrived at the location on Rose Prairie Road just before 10 p.m. and immediately began to suppress the fire. According to Chief Blades of the Fort St. John Fire Department, the shop and all its contents were a complete loss.
Daughter-in-law Hilliary Brown says the biggest loss wasn’t the RV, riverboat, quad, or riding mower. Instead, it was Monte Wongstedt’s woodworking shop.
