The aroma of doughnuts and fresh-ground coffee wafted through Via Flagler on Friday morning, signaling another step in the revitalization of Royal Poinciana Way in Palm Beach. “We envisioned what this area once was. Now we are bringing the energy and fun back,” said David Frisbie, a partner with The Breakers in the new café and contemporary boutique called Main Street by The Breakers. Frisbie and his wife Suzanne were the first customers when doors swung open at 6:30 a.m. Via Flagler is a 1.3-acre, mixed-use development on the site of the former Testa’s restaurant. The Testa’s building, along with an adjacent empty gas station and shopping area, was demolished and replaced by Via Flagler, which also includes The Breakers Henry’s restaurant. ....

The brand, which is available along with other luxury resortwear brands at The Breakers’ Absolutely Suitable in-hotel store, is upgrading to its own 2,000-square-foot boutique in the resort’s shopping plaza Via Flagler. “It became natural for us to create this partnership of developing the store with them,” John Zoller, senior vice president of retail operations at The Breakers, said. “Their look is unique. People will appreciate the quality of fabric, fit and construction for ready-to-wear and swimwear. It’s perfect for a resort town.” ....

(East Windsor Township) EAST WINDSOR, NJ – East Windsor township recently participated in the Communities of Light event to raise funds and awareness about domestic violence. On Dec. 7, Mayor Janice S. Mironov and Council Members Dense Daniels, Marc Lippman, Alan Rosenberg, and John Zoller came together at the municipal building to light candles around the entire perimeter and walkways of the building. They were joined by Police Chief James Geary and officers. All participants were masked and following social distancing guidelines. Residents and local business owners were encouraged to participate by lighting up their residences in this community-wide event. ....
