• Jacob Unruh wrote about Eddie Sutton’s time at Arkansas with a first-hand account from Scott Sutton.
Scott, the youngest of three, spent his formative years in Fayetteville. Scott was 4 when Eddie was hired and 15 when Eddie left for Kentucky.
“Probably looking back, he probably wished he hadn’t left,” Scott said. “I think he was a great fit at Arkansas, just like he was at Oklahoma State.”

Cade Cunningham watches from sideline as Oklahoma State's upset bid of Baylor falls short: 'He's not in any position to play a game right now'

STILLWATER Cade Cunningham stood between two coaches on Oklahoma State’s sideline yelling directions and encouragement.
He was in a white hoodie and light denim jeans while wearing a black medical mask.
Not an orange Cowboys jersey.
OSU’s best player and one of the top stars in the country was stuck on the sideline as part of COVID-19 protocols.
“He’s not in any position to play a game right now,” OSU coach Mike Boynton said.
Saturday was a strange day around Gallagher-Iba Arena.
Cunningham warmed up an hour before the game, but left the court and did not return in uniform. Fellow freshman Rondel Walker also started warmups, but left with an arm injury.

Bedlam Hoops Postponed after Positive COVID Test within OSU's Program

Oklahomans will have to wait for Bedlam hoops.
Oklahoma State’s Saturday matchup against Oklahoma has been postponed. The postponement comes because of one positive COVID-19 test and contact tracing on OSU’s side, according to a source.
OSU and the Big 12 confirmed the reports of the game’s postponement Friday afternoon. OSU announced it has suspended team activities indefinitely because of the positive test.
“The well-being of the young men in our program has always been and will continue to be the most important thing to me, my staff and our administration,” OSU coach Mike Boynton said in the release. “We’ve been very fortunate to play the games we’ve played thus far, and we will await the advice of our medical staff before making any decisions on a return to team activities.” ....

Oklahoma State forward Kalib Boone is struggling on the court — mentally and physically: 'I'm just worried about the wrong things'

STILLWATER Kalib Boone really believes he is his own worst enemy.
“At times, yeah, I feel like it’s really me stopping me from being the best player on the court,” the Oklahoma State sophomore forward said.
Boone was a revelation inside the paint for the Cowboys last season, coming off the bench and scoring in double figures a handful of times. He entered the season as a starter following the transfer of Yor Anei.
Boone has instead struggled.
He’s averaged 6.4 points and 4.2 rebounds in just 15.5 minutes per game. He’s been in and out of the starting five. He’s fouled out the past two games and three times overall this season.
“I’m just worried about all the wrong things,” Boone said.
