Bernama ALOR SETAR: A single mother of five, who was worried that she could not provide food on the table for her family can now breathe a sigh of relief when she is listed as among the recipients of the government’s food basket assistance. Selasiah Md Isa, 43, (pix) who started selling traditional cakes after her husband passed away two years ago said she was grateful for everything that was destined for her family including the fact that they no longer had to sleep on an empty stomach. I am relieved for getting the food basket of various dried foods. There is rice, that s enough for me for I can catch fish in the river and pick vegetables that grow next to our house,” she told Bernama when met at her rented house in Kampung Padang Hasan, Kepala Batas near here, today. ....
