Operation Of 36 Erring Medical Stores Suspended
JAMMU: Drugs Control Organisation has suspended operations of 36 Retail Sale Establishments across Jammu Province for violation of Drugs & Cosmetics Act, 1940.
As per DCO, surprise inspections of Retail Sale Outlets particularly, situated in far-flung/remote areas were carried out by the concerned Drugs Control Officers under the supervision of respective Assistant Drugs Controller in Jammu Province under the overall authority of State Drugs Controller, Lotika Khajuria to ensure availability of quality drugs to the end-users.
The operation of 6 units were disallowed in Jammu, 6 in Samba, 2 in Kathua, 6 in Kishtwar, 4 in Udhampur and 12 in Ramban district. ....

JKBOSE declares class 10 Annual Regular 2020 Winter Zone results for Jammu division
66.56% students qualify the exam; girls outshine boys
JAMMU: The Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) today declared the Class 10th Annual Regular Examination results of Session, 2020 of Winter Zone areas of Jammu Province in which a total of 66.56% students were declared successful.
A total 24842 candidates, including 11385 girls and 13457 boys were enrolled for the examination, spread over 327 Examination Centres, out of which 16536 students qualified the exam.
The pass percentage of the boys was recorded as 64.52%, while girls outshined with pass 68.98 %. A total 396 students secured A1 Grade, 2025 A2 Grade, 3359 B1 Grade, 4278 B2 Grade 4191 C1 Grade, 2227 C2 Grade and 101 students were able to secure D Grade. The performance of Government Schools has shown a steep rise from 46.19 % (last year) to 63.38 %. ....

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Monday declared the Class 10th Annual Regular Examination results of Session, 2020 of Winter Zone areas of Jammu Province in which a total of 66.56% students were declared successful.

JAMMU, Feb 20: PHE Employees United Front (Jammu Province), has alleged that some officers of the Jal Shakti/ PHE Department are forcing daily rated/ consolidated workers to go on strike.
Addressing a joint press conference here today, senior members of the United Front including Ravi Hans, Rajinder Singh Taj, Navdeep Singh, Mohan Lal, HS Chib and Rashpal Singh said that salary of the PHE daily wagers was released by the Finance department for the month of September-October 2020, but unfortunately some Executive Engineers are not releasing that salary in their favour, forcing daily rated workers to come out on roads and launch agitation. ....
