Moreover, installation of Integrated Common Control Centre and Intelligent Traffic Management System is still pending for want of signing of Memorandum of Understanding with Bharat Electrical Limited.

Green Spaces in Jammu under Smart City Project: Div Com
Jammu Tawi, April 8: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Dr Raghav Langer today directed the forest department and other line departments to identify vacant spaces in Jammu City to develop these into green patches.
He was chairing a meeting of concerned departments to review their action plans for Plantation of trees under Jammu Smart City Project.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Central, DFO Jammu, DFO Social Forestry, Joint Director School Education, Project Director NHAI besides senior functionaries of PWD, JMC, JDA, NHIDCL Director Colleges and other concerned.
The DFO Jammu informed that the forest department has set the target of planting 5 Lakh plants on the outskirts of Jammu City including, Parks, Schools, Colleges, River Banks, Road sides and on the vacant state land.

JAMMU, Mar 17: Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha today chaired a high-level meeting to review the progress being made on the prestigious Jammu and Srinagar Smart City projects.
During the review meeting, the Lt Governor asked the concerned functionaries to make a visible impact while working with high professionalism and clear vision.
Laying special emphasis on accelerating the approval of DPRs and tender allotment process, the Lt Governor directed CEOs of Jammu Smart City Limited (JSCL) and Srinagar Smart City Limited (SSCL) for constituting a technical committee for early vetting of DPRs of the projects.
