The highly-anticipated new series of SAS Australia has officially started filming in the Blue Mountains, NSW. And on Tuesday, the celebrity recruits were pictured at the training camp with chief instructor Ant Middleton for the first time. Troubled NRL star Sam Burgess, celebrity chef Manu Fieldel and ironman Jett Kenny were among the stars spotted lining up as the former British Special Forces solider and his fellow DS (Directing Staff) revealed the first gruelling challenge. A smattering of former sports stars will be joined by actors, media personalities, a Bra Boy, musicians, and a former politician, with the series to be produced by Screentime, a Banijay Group company. Leading the names are former NRL and rugby player Sam Burgess, ex-tennis star Mark Philippoussis, and dual Olympian Jana Pittman, plus Ironman Jett Kenny, Olympian John Steffensen and AFL player Heath Shaw, among others whose former sporting prowess should leave them in relatively good stead for the challenge. ....
