Jan 05, 2021 at 02:57 PM Copied! This week in Denver Broncos history is marked by the blockbuster decision by President of Football Operations and General Manager John Elway to step back and up, and to hire a new general manager to make all the football personnel decisions. Asked to pick a New Year s Resolution for the Broncos, ESPN s Jeff Legwold picked Get (and stay) healthy, but if I may add one of my own, I ll go a different route. Through 16 weeks, the Broncos have earned a rather unfortunate distinction with a league-worst -20 turnover differential. The next-worst team s differential is half that. To Legwold s point, injuries have played a key role in this; it s hard to imagine a full strength defense with Von Miller, Jurrell Casey, A.J. Bouye and Bryce Callahan still forcing just 12 takeaways. ....
