Huizenga introduces bill to give Nat. Guard members in DC a per diem

Sentinel Staff
WASHINGTON Following concerns over the quality of food being served to members of the Michigan National Guard deployed in Washington, a group of bipartisan lawmakers have introduced legislation to offer members a daily allowance for meals.
U.S. Reps. Bill Huizenga, R-Zeeland, and Seth Moulton, D-Massachusetts, introduced the GRUB Act in the House Thursday, March 11. The legislation would retroactively provide an estimated $43 per day in reimbursement for members of the National Guard who were deployed in Washington following the Capitol insurrection of Jan. 6.
“It is clear there has been a serious issue with food being supplied to members of the Michigan National Guard deployed to the U.S. Capitol,” Huizenga said in a statement. “Our men and women answered the call to serve, leaving behind their loved ones and their jobs. They deserve to be provided a safe meal while serving on duty. ....

UPDATE, ARMY: Why 7,000 of the "President's Guard" to remain in D.C. – Soldier of Fortune Magazine

A dark foreboding has descended over D.C. as the administration implies that National guardsmen may have to turn against their fellow Americans, some warn.
Or is it just the act of a fearful, arrogant elitist Administration only interested in saving their own hides as they are hell bent of putting the final nail in the coffin for Trump? Maybe, but not likely as this Administration is aware that best way to control human subjects is through oppression and fear.

1:03 P.M. EST
MS. PSAKI:  Good afternoon, everyone.  Happy Friday.  Today, we are joined by National Economic Council Director Brian Deese, who will highlight some key aspects of the executive orders the President is issuing today related to the economy and underline their impact on American families and workers.
Brian is kind enough to take a few questions; I didn’t have to twist his arm too much.  But he does have to go to a briefing with the President, so I’ll be the bad cop and come up when he has to cut it off. ....
