President of Council of Women of Brunei Darussalam (CWBD) Datin Hajah Siti Hajar binti Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Setia Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yusof in her capacity as the President of ASEAN Confederation of Women’s Organisations (ACWO) attended the launch of ASEAN Regional Study on Women, Peace and Security online at Girl Guides Association of Brunei Darussalam’s headquarters yesterday.
Vice President I Pengiran Datin Paduka Hajah Mariam binti Pengiran Haji Matarsat, Vice President II Datin Hajah Masni binti Haji Mohd Ali, Vice President III Hajah Kertini binti Orang Kaya Paduka Setia Diraja Abang Haji Abu Hanifah, Secretary General Hajah Arbaeyah binti OKSW Haji Abdullah and 13 representatives of associations under the umbrella of CWBD were present.

This was said by Permanent Secretary (Community and Culture) at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Hajah Nor Ashikin binti Haji Johari in her welcoming speech during the premier forum in conjunction with International Women’s Day Celebration yesterday.
“Women’s successes remain celebrated globally amid COVID-19 pandemic, through various events, according to the new norms,” she said, adding that “we are very grateful for the opportunity to interact with guest speakers from Malaysia as well as other members of the women’s panel in this country who lead in their respective careers”.
