Hafsah Faizal’s bestselling debut YA fantasy novel might soon make the jump from page to screen. Deadline reports that STXtv has picked up the option to develop
We Hunt the Flame for a TV series, with Faizal set as an executive producer.
The novel hit stores back in 2019, and saw its sequel,
We Free the Stars released last month, in a world inspired by ancient Arabian mythology and legends.
It follows a woman named Zafira, the Hunter, who has had to disguise herself as a man as she works to find food for her family in the Arz, a cursed forest.
