People Organize Farmers Parliament January 23-24 Repeal farm laws Civil society individuals and groups are organising a Kisan Sansad near the Singhu border on January 23 and 24 in support of the agitating farmers. The people’s farmers Parliament will be held at Guru Tegh Bahadur Memorial close to the Singhu border which is one of the main venues where the farmers are currently camping. A committee has been formed to organise this with former justices and agrarian experts. The members are Justice Gopal Gowda, Justice Kolse Patil, former Naval chief Admiral L.Ramdas, Aruna Roy, P Sainath, former Minister Yashwant Sinha, Medha Patkar. Sant Gopaldas, Mohammad Adeeb, professor Jagmohan Singh, Sompal Shastri and Prashant Bhushan.
