For 36 years, Gatorade has honored the nation’s best high school athletes who also meet high academic standards and show exemplary character through community and school service. The 5-foot-9 senior was undefeated for the fourth-straight season against Maine cross country competition last fall. She won the Cumberland County state qualifier with a time of 18 minutes, 8.85 seconds – finishing 26 seconds ahead of the field.
