Social Share The Barbados Rally Club’s (BRC) Autocross Championship will get underway at Bushy Park race circuit in St Philip tomorrow. This is one of 36 events earmarked by the Barbados Motoring Federation (BMF) following last Saturday’s speed event at Vaucluse Raceway in a revised provisional calendar for the rest of 2021. “While the coronavirus pandemic means the situation remains very fluid and this calendar is still provisional, we are optimistic that things are easing, as Government protocols allow more activity. “We have worked hard to arrive at a list of dates which allows a fair distribution of events among the clubs,” BMF vice-president Mark Hamilton said in a press release this week. ....
Social Share The annual Sol Rally Barbados has been rescheduled for September 25 and 26 due to the continuing effects of the coronavirus pandemic. In announcing the revised dates last weekend, the Barbados Rally Club (BRC), which organises the 24-stage event, also revealed that its sprint and stage rally disciplines would not start until August. The BRC said action will now get underway with a joint event to be run with the Motoring Club of Barbados Inc. (MCBI) on August 21 and 22 while Flow King of the Hill which features four timed runs on a roughly four-kilometre circuit, will be staged on Sunday, September 19. ....
