Islamabad: Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) fined 111 vehicles on Tuesday during a crackdown on those vehicles having tinted glasses and fancy number plates.
Senior Superintendent of Police (Traffic) Syed Karar Hussain and Superintendent of Police (Traffic) Muhamad Sarfaraz Virk are supervising the efforts themselves. Following directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Qazi Jamil ul Rehman, ITP force has accelerated efforts to take action against those vehicles having tinted glasses. Special squads have been constituted for the purpose which have been also directed to remove tinted glasses from vehicles.
SSP (Traffic) Syed Karrar Hussain and SP (Traffic) Muhammad Sarfaraz Vrik conducted operation themselves for three hours in Sector G-8 last day and fined 111 vehicles over different violations. ....

Islamabad: The campaign of Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) launched to check lane violation is in full swing and road users are being educated to follow traffic rules and minimize the accident ratio.
The main objective of this road safety campaign is to ensure safety to people and road users are being educated for lane discipline during drive.
Following directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Qazi Jamil ul Rehman, Senior Superintendent of Police (Traffic) Syed Karrar Hussain has constituted special squads to control lane violations on various roads and ensure smooth flow of traffic in the city. ITP’s squads remain present on all important roads including Islamabad Expressway, Srinagar (Kashmir) highway to educate road users about traffic rules. Pamphlets and leaflets are being distributed to create awareness among citizens while teams of the education wing headed by SSP (Traffic) Syed Karrar Huss ....

ISLAMABAD: In a reshuffling on higher level in the Federal Capital Police, tens of top PSP officers have been relocated from their positions, Thursday.
According to a notification, issued from the office of Chief Commissioner Islamabad, SSP Farrukh Rashid has been transferred from Islamabad Traffic Police to SSP Law & Order Department, SSP Dr Khurram Rashid (AIG Operations) has been moved to SSP CTD, SSP Dr Naveed Arif has been transferred from SSP Logistics to AIG Establishment, SSP Khalid Rasheed has been placed from SSP Law & Order to AIG General, Syed Karrar Hussain, who has joined Islamabad police from the Punjab and was waiting for his posting, has been appointed SSP Traffic. ....
