West-MEC instructor Susan Leon named to ACTE board

Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) named Susan Leon, an Instructional Specialist at
Western Maricopa Education Center (West-MEC) – a public career technical education district – as its New and Related Services Division Vice President-elect.
Leon was named to the position as part of ACTE’s 2021 election for its Board of Directors. ACTE provides leadership in developing a competitive workforce. The associate also strives to empower educators from around the United States to deliver quality CTE programs to ensure all students are positioned for career success.
Leon will serve a three-year term, beginning July 2022. ....
