Manish Giri, a sailor with the Indian Navy, was sacked on Monday evening. The reason for Manish’s sacking, as cited by the Indian Navy is that Manish underwent a sex reassignment surgery. 
Manish, who is now known as Sabi, underwent the surgical procedure in August at a hospital in Delhi while he was on leave. ....
