Myrna L. Baez, 30, was due to appear at the Cheshire County Superior Court Wednesday, but her attorney filed an expedited motion to cancel the bail hearing on Dec. 30. Baez’s bail was originally set at $20,000 cash, but was reduced to $2,500 cash on Dec. 8 during her probable cause hearing at the 8th Circuit Court, Jaffrey. Baez turned herself into the Littleton Police Department on Nov. 30 at 10:29 a.m., on a warrant out of the Jaffrey Police Department. Baez was charged with two counts of felonious sexual assault: forcible sodomy.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt or innocence, but shows a jury found sufficient evidence to bring charges to trial. All parties are continued to be presumed innocent until proven guilty. Armando Barron, 31, is accused of using his wife’s cell phone to lure Amerault to Annett State Park in Rindge in the overnight between Sept. 19 and Sept. 20, after discovering Amerault and his wife, Britany Barron, 31, were allegedly having an affair. After luring Amerault, 25, of Keene, to the isolated park, he allegedly beat him and attempted to coerce his wife, Britany Barron into killing Amerault, before ultimately forcing Amerault into the back of his own car and shooting him multiple times, resulting in his death.
