Armando and Britany Barron of Jaffrey have been indicted by a multi-county Grand Jury on crimes related to the murder of Jonathan Amerault.
An indictment is not an indication of guilt or innocence, but shows a jury found sufficient evidence to bring charges to trial. All parties are continued to be presumed innocent until proven guilty.
Armando Barron, 31, is accused of using his wife’s cell phone to lure Amerault to Annett State Park in Rindge in the overnight between Sept. 19 and Sept. 20, after discovering Amerault and his wife, Britany Barron, 31, were allegedly having an affair. After luring Amerault, 25, of Keene, to the isolated park, he allegedly beat him and attempted to coerce his wife, Britany Barron into killing Amerault, before ultimately forcing Amerault into the back of his own car and shooting him multiple times, resulting in his death.
