by: Adams & Swanson Funeral Home - Apr. 9, 2021 Obituaries Darwin “Derb” Frey, 88, of Stapleton passed away peacefully on Feb. 4, 2021 at the Central Nebraska Veteran’s Home in Kearney. Darwin was born May 14, 1932 at the home of Harry and Eva Frey in Stapleton. He graduated in 1950 from Baker Rural High School and enlisted in the United States Air Force. Darwin served during the Korean War as an aerial gunner on a B-29 bomber flying out of Okinawa. He was decorated with the Air Medal with three oak leaf clusters. After serving four years each of active and reserve duty, he was honorably discharged from the Air Force and enrolled in the University of Wyoming using the G.I. Bill. ....

BOOTH Dominic Andrew Booth, 18, also known as Big Dom, of Millerstown died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021, at Hershey Medical Center. He was a super hero, donating all of his organs through Gift of Life. He provided other families’ loved ones to have the opportunity to have a second chance at life. He was born July 15, 2002, at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, to Harold Jr. and JoAnn Marie (Thomas) Booth. He completed his junior year at Greenwood High School. He loved playing video games on his computer, magic cards and playing with his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed playing recreational soccer through Ickesburg and played on the Greenwood High School team. He was a member of Cub Pack 7 of Millerstown and Boy Scout Troop 7 of Youngs United Methodist Church, Shermans Dale. He worked at Hidden Valley Scout Camp, Loysville, for one summer. By Alaba-Olusola Oke Ugbo (Ondo State), Dec. 18, 2020 The Amalgamation of Ilaje Coastal Communities Association (AMAICOMMA), on Friday, assured oil producing communities in Ondo State of completion of all the projects in the area. The Chairman of the association, Mr Taiwo Orisabenoni, gave the assurance during a stakeholders’ meetings, held at Ugbo, Obe Nla and Ilu Abo communities in Ilaje Local Government Area of the state. The Chairman, represented by Mr Adekunle Alli, Chairman, Resources Mobilisation of the association, said that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU), on behalf of the communities, with the government and Chevron Oil Company on the development of the area. ....
