Khaliq A KEIGHLEY man who attacked a betting shop manager after he was banned from the premises for being abusive and spitting on the gaming machines has been jailed for three years and three months. Mohammed Khaliq had been arrested for possession of heroin with intent to supply when he and an accomplice attacked their victim in Keighley town centre, Bradford Crown Court heard. Khaliq was angry and aggressive when he waylaid the manager of Ladbrokes who had been to buy food for his lunch, prosecutor Camille Morland said. Khaliq, 27, of Broomfield Road, said: “What are you going to do about it, mother f ?” when he confronted the man at 1.45pm on July 30, 2017. ....

Holiday park owner could have died when large dog sunk its teeth into her throat, court told Bradford Crown Court The owner of a holiday park could have died when a large powerful dog jumped up and sunk its teeth into her throat, Bradford Crown Court heard today. The Cane Corso Italian breed partially severed muscles in Catherine Skinn’s throat leav-ing her needing emergency treatment at Bradford Royal Infirmary. The bite was 2cms away from severing her carotid artery, prosecutor Camille Morland said. Melissa Clews, 33, pleaded guilty to being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control at Faweather Grange Holiday Park, Sconce Lane, Eldwick, Bingley, on July 13, 2019. ....
TWO men were jailed for their roles in dealing heroin and crack cocaine for the Bobby Line in Bradford. Luqman Khan was imprisoned for six years for helping to operate the line and multiple offences of supplying Class A drugs in April 2019. Mohammed Arfan was locked up for two and a half years for two offences of trafficking drugs with Khan in the Leeds Road area of Bradford. Khan, 23, of Tagore Court, Fagley, Bradford, was described by the judge sentencing him as “a very busy and active street dealer.” He pleaded guilty to supplying crack cocaine on April 3, 10 and 29th, 2019, and heroin on April 10. ....
