Position Summary
The Bronx Prevention Center, part of ICAP at Columbia University, is a Clinical Research Site (CRS) within the NIH-funded AIDS Clinical Trials Unit at Columbia University. Located in a clinical office on East 158th Street in the Bronx, the site has over ten years of experience conducting phase 1 and 2 and observational HIV prevention clinical trials.
Reporting to the Program Manager/Site Coordinator, the
Community Outreach Manager will lead the recruitment of participants for the grant-funded clinical research studies, conducted at the site. Collaborating with other external health facilities located in the Bronx and NYC.
Responsibilities
Conduct all participant recruitment activities in accordance with the study protocol and study-specific procedures and other appropriate institutional regulations, procedures, and policies, including procedures to safeguard confidentiality of study participants 10%

Purpose of Position
Under the supervision of the MEAL Manager, the Accountability Officer is responsible for the implementation of activities related to accountability to the affected population and mainly in its aspects related to transparency, complaint and feedback mechanisms, and participation across all Bahar’s areas of intervention. Accountability Officer will also contribute to the definition of the Accountability plan and activities for all Bahar’s project.
