Retired Eastern Cape police commander killed during house robbery

Brigadier Joseph Jongile was shot dead during a suspected house robbery in East London on Friday.
He died after a struggle with one of five armed suspects.
They ransacked his home and fled with valuables worth R80 000, including his firearm.
The retired head of the Eastern Cape police s Operational Response Services division, Brigadier Joseph Jongile, was shot dead during a suspected house robbery at his Baysville home in East London on Friday night.

Hawks bust two accused of KwaZulu-Natal cop killing

Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of a KZN police officer.
The suspects are alleged to have stabbed Sergeant Nduduzo Sibiya who tried to assist a woman the duo was assaulting.
The men followed Sibiya, stabbed him, and robbed him of his service pistol.

Response Services Lieutenant- General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi at Cape Gate
