As life slowly and thankfully returns to pre-pandemic normalcy, it is no surprise that multiple cities are announcing Fourth of July events. WBIR is keeping a running list that will be available on an ongoing basis as we learn about more festivities. Remember, July 4 is on a Sunday this year. Some events are on the actual day; others are a day or two beforehand. Where to watch fireworks: City of Knoxville: World s Fair Park, July 2, beginning at 9:30 p.m.

The City of Knoxville won t be holding its usual big Festival on the Fourth this year but will host a smaller celebration to mark Independence Day. The city will host two events leading up to the 4th, on Friday, July 2 and Saturday, July 3, featuring live music at World s Fair Park. Friday s concert will conclude with a small fireworks show.

Dogwood Arts Festival to return in-person starting Friday The festival will take place at the Performance Lawn at World’s Fair Park from April 23 to April 25 and will feature 75 art vendors. Author: Dalisa Robles (WBIR) Updated: 10:37 AM EDT April 22, 2021 KNOXVILLE, Tenn. The Dogwood Arts Festival announced that it will return in person to World’s Fair Park from April 23 to April 25. Organizers have been working with the City of Knoxville and following Knox County Health Department (KCHD) guidelines to bring the event back. The festival will take place at the Performance Lawn at World’s Fair Park and will feature 75 art vendors working in mixed media, pottery, painting, photography, glass, jewelry, sculpture, and more.
