Nicola Sturgeon is set to be formally re-elected first minister of Scotland by a vote of MSPs at Holyrood.
Ms Sturgeon s SNP won 64 of the 129 seats in the parliament at the election on 6 May, one short of a majority.
However there still needs to be a vote of MSPs before her name is put forward to the Queen to be confirmed in office.
The vote will take place at around 14:00, with Ms Sturgeon and any nominees from other parties allowed to make a short speech beforehand.
Nicola Sturgeon is giving NHS workers a 4 per cent pay increase and a £500 thank you payment for health and social workers during the coronavirus pandemic.
The pay rise is set to benefit around 154,000 employees covered by the Agenda for Change NHS pay and grading system, according to the Scottish Government.
Among those included in Agenda for Change are nurses, paramedics and allied health professionals, as well as domestic, healthcare support staff, porters and other frontline health workers.
