DETROIT, MI (WTVB) – The eight championship games in the M.H.S.A.A. 11-person football tournament take place this weekend at Ford Field in Detroit.
The championship games are normally held during Thanksgiving weekend but they are taking place two months later than originally scheduled because of the pause in high school athletics that was ordered by the State of Michigan in November following a surge of COVID-19 cases.
The undefeated Centreville Bulldogs will play in their first title game ever when they battle Ubly on Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the Division Eight finals. Centreville is 10-0 while Ubly is 9-2.
