Those looking for the Harker Heights Farmers Market on Saturday will have to travel a little further up the road. The event that is held every Saturday for six months will now be at the parking lot of City Hall, 305 Millerâs Crossing.
It will begin Saturday and run through Oct. 30. The hours of operation will be 8 a.m. to noon.
Activities Center Coordinator Sarah Gibbs told the Herald in March that for the past seven years, the farmers market had been located in the parking lot of Seton Medical Center. Prior to that, it had been held at various parks in the city.

Harker Heights police say two of the three have been charged and are currently in the Bell County Jail. One is still awaiting arraignment.
Endy Neri Soto has been charged with deadly conduct discharge firearm and Taja West has been charged with aggravated robbery. Bond has been set at $500,000 each.
Harker Heights police say that on April 20, they received about six calls shortly after 11 p.m. about gunshots. Officers were dispatched and arrived on the scene in the 1000 block of East Knights Way within minutes of dispatch.

BELL COUNTY, TX â Millions of people have already gotten at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and now the list of who is eligible for a vaccine is expanding.
As of Monday, people that fall into Phase 1C can now get a vaccine if they choose to.
âWhere as last week we were vaccinating people in group 1-a and 1-b which was over 65 or over 16 with a chronic medical condition, this morning we are vaccinating anyone over 50 or over 16 with a chronic medical condition,â said James Stafford, Bell County Public Information Officer.
