Phil Luccarelli 83, Jeff Marshall 00 and Hakim Richard Savoy 90 were elected to DelVal s Board.
Three alumni – Phil Luccarelli ’83, Jeff Marshall ’00, and Hakim Richard Savoy ’90 – have been named to Delaware Valley University’s Board of Trustees recently.
“We are proud to welcome three alumni who have achieved a great deal of success in their fields to the University’s Board,” said DelVal President Dr. Maria Gallo. “Phil, Jeff, and Hakim will provide valuable insight as we pursue DelVal’s strategic goals. I know the knowledge and experience they will bring to DelVal’s Board will have a positive impact on the University and our students.”

DUNSEITH – The International Peace Garden has selected Kenny Keith as its newest grounds manager. Keith brings two decades of progressive experience in the landscaping industry, including growing up in the industry as a third-generation landscaper.
Keith is from Fredrick, Maryland, and has previously served in the roles of production supervisor at The Brickman Group, production specialist and director of operations at Classic Landscaping, and business developer at Landscape Services, Inc., in that region. He is also a veteran of the war on terrorism, having performed a combat tour of duty in Kandahar, Afghanistan, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

While 2020 will always be remembered as the year of the pandemic, it’s also the year residents of northern Rhode Island came together in an unprecedented show of support for their neighbors and friends. Much of this kindness was directed at healthcare workers, first responders and others who faced seemingly insurmountable challenges as the pandemic took hold. From drive-in graduations to socially distanced parades, here are some of our favorite ways the community came together in 2020.
