Share New Delhi: The second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic has triggered an unimaginable crisis across the nation, leaving many in a distressed condition. Stepping up during these challenging times, Masterchef and philanthropist Sanjeev Kapoor along with World Central Kitchen (WCK) founded by Chef José Andres and Taj Hotels started an initiative in April 2021 by providing high-quality meals to frontline healthcare workers of the country.   Within a month, the team managed to provide more than five lakh delectable meals in 10 states across the country.   The genesis of the partnership between Masterchef Sanjeev Kapoor and Taj Hotels can be traced to last year when the pandemic first hit the country. This year, WCK joined forces with Chef Kapoor and Taj Group to take fresh cooked nutritious meals to our healthcare warriors who are working non-stop against the coronavirus. The menu is specially curated keeping in mind their nutritional needs to fight the pandemic.
