Lifespace Communities sells Deerfield, Grand Lodge retirement communities Thursday, June 3, 2021 10:48 AM Lifespace Communities in West Des Moines announced Wednesday that it has reached an agreement with Omaha-based Immanuel Communities to transfer ownership and management of Lifespace’s campuses in Urbandale and in Lincoln, Neb., to Immanuel. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Lifespace’s Deerfield community in Urbandale and Grand Lodge at the Preserve in Lincoln will officially join the Immanuel family of retirement living communities in the third quarter of this year. The deal includes a combined 349 apartments with care levels ranging from independent living to assisted living, memory care, residential care, and skilled-nursing and long-term care. Immanuel owns and operates 16 retirement communities on nine campuses, among them the Shores at Pleasant Hill, and Immanuel Pathways operates three PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care fo ....

NORTH KINGSTOWNâIn 2018 it was a mandate by the people of North Kingstown to sell its old library building when almost 80 percent of the voters approved the sale during a special election. Now, the next chapter of the old library is one step closer to being written after North Kingstown Town Manager Ralph Mollis presented a $94,000 check to the North Kingstown Free Library Corporation last week after selling the property at 55 Brown Street. According to a statement from the Town of North Kingstown, the building had been vacant since early 2016.  âThe town manager, with the direction and authorization of the North Kingstown Town Council, then entered into a Purchase and Sale Agreement with Eve Clulow to sell the premises for the purchase price of $100,000,â the statement reads. ....
