The Sufi Council UK is a Blackburn organisation which set up a ‘Food Drive’ recently. Salman Ashraf from the group said: “It’s not our room to judge those on our streets, our job is to simply hand out and fulfil our duty as a good Muslim in serving the community. “Volunteers visited the town centre, Darwen Street, King Street, The Salvation Army and temporary housing outside Shadsworth leisure centre to distribute food there. “A huge thank you to our team members brother Tahir, Huzaifah, Nayim, Yameen, Zainul, Shoayb and Umer.” The group has links to the Sufi Council of Toronto, Canada. ....
