Struggling with bad roads for the past three years despite several appeals to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), residents of Lohegaon-Wagholi this year resorted to a unique protest that will teach a lesson not only to the civic body but also to the elected representatives. With the area’s merger into PMC, Wagholi residents have declared that they will not pay any civic taxes and will also refrain from voting during the municipal elections.
